A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Launched in 2018, Dakota DesignWorks creates comfortable, good-looking homes in the Coachella Valley and High Desert. We love where we live and are continually inspired by the desert— its colors, shapes, materials and patina.
Our central influence for each project is the architecture of your home. That’s our compass for recommending solutions and styles for your project.
We like comfortable rooms that mix periods quietly— a ‘hard to put your finger on the decade’ vibe. We love pieces that feel true to the house’s origins and also to the present day.

Meet Lee, a stylist and producer whose array of national clients includes Target, JC Penney, and Simon Malls. His design skills aren't limited to interiors. With an additional background in--and passion for--landscape design, Lee can oversee the outdoor spaces as well.

Michael Walters
Principal
Meet Michael, who honed his craft working as a set designer and stylist for national magazines and commercial clients such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pier 1 and Target. Michael consults with retailers and designers across the country, from the Coachella Valley and the Bay Area to the Hamptons.

Dakota
Head of Operations
The company namesake, Dakota was an 11-year old German Shepard Dog with a good eye and a fierce bark. She handed over the operating reigns to eight-year old Cody, who in typical Black Lab fashion, takes things a bit easier.
